As Automotive Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new commercial opportunities within the automotive sector. You will be focusing on expanding market presence across fleet management, remarketing solutions and aftersales.
You will have:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the automotive, fleet services, logistics, or mobility sectors.
- Strong understanding of automotive operations, including fleet lifecycle management, remarketing, aftersales services, and production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex services and consultative solutions, with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across automotive OEMs, leasing companies, fleet operators, logistics partners, and remarketing clients.
- Conduct market analysis to understand competitive dynamics, customer needs, industry trends, and emerging service demands (e.g., EV battery services, QPDI enhancements).
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation, closing, and onboarding.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at new and existing customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Advocate for clients internally to influence tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Articulate the value of automotive services, including fleet optimisation, HV battery lifecycle management, production support and aftersales solutions.
- Collaborate with technical, operations, and delivery teams to co-develop compelling proposals and service packages.
- Prepare compelling sales presentations, tender responses, and commercial documentation.
- Represent at automotive forums, industry exhibitions, conferences, and partner events to raise brand awareness and secure new leads.
