Are you an experienced Technician/Fabric Engineer with a keen eye for detail, a good hand with a paint brush and able to fix any problem with a can‑do approach?
Do you want to work within a fast‑paced team delivering an excellent in‑house FM Service to London's leading flexible office provider?
We're looking for a full‑time Facilities Management Technician to travel across South London & West London who will:
- Conduct regular health & safety and compliance inspections to ensure a safe, secure and compliant environment for all building users.
- Maintain common and landlord areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
- Take a solution‑focused approach to resolve building issues quickly and efficiently.
- Support decorative standards by painting.
- Ensure jobs logged on the maintenance management system are updated and completed on time.
- Carry out health & safety checks to make sure that the building is safe, secure and fit for use, this includes lift auto‑diallers, panic alarms, roof alarms, plant rooms and riser cupboards.
- Assist with fire safety procedures including weekly fire alarm tests, fire door/sprinkler checks, monthly emergency lighting tests and six‑monthly evacuation drills.
- Record monthly utility meter readings on the central meter and attend required training and development sessions.
- Identify and assess potential hazards and understanding of fire safety procedures and compliance requirements.
What we need from you
- Relevant previous job experience
- H&S and/or Trade Qualification/Training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Experience of CAFM Systems
- Basic Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations & Procedures
- Excellent Organisation & Time Management
- Energy & Passion
This role requires you to be on sites 5 days a week.
