Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Project Management and Building Surveying, the Senior Building Surveyor will provide advice on building and construction matters for the Workspace portfolio. From £50,000 to £2m refurbishments to long‑term fabric repairs, you will lead the planned maintenance and reinstatement cost assessment process, assist in property acquisitions and oversee license to alterations. This role requires you to be in the office 4 days a week.

Qualifications

  • An experienced Building Surveyor capable of acting as Lead Consultant
  • A cradle to grave operator who can appoint and manage professional design teams and external consultants
  • Expert at managing diverse stakeholders
  • Decisive, technical and comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Post 4 years qualified experience as a member of RICS
