- Acting as Lead Project Manager and Contract Administrator, ensuring projects are delivered in line with Workspace standards.
- Preparing schedules of works, tender documentation, budgets, programmes, and project approvals.
- Procuring and managing contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supporting contract administration, including JCT contracts, purchase orders, and financial governance processes.
- Monitoring project costs, programmes, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinating statutory applications and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conducting site visits and maintaining regular communication with project stakeholders.
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and company policies.
- Maintaining accurate project records, property data, drawings, and documentation.
- Supporting Senior Project Managers and the Head of Department with wider property and estate improvement initiatives.
What You'll Need
- Proven project management experience within construction, property, refurbishment, or the built environment.
- Experience delivering commercial or industrial property projects from inception through to completion.
- Strong understanding of building construction, contracts, project delivery, and property-related legislation.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, including CDM regulations.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, costs, and identifying value-engineering opportunities.
- Experience preparing scopes of works, tender documentation, and contractor evaluations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing deadlines.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with wider teams.
Desirable
- Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment or construction projects.
