As a Billing Services Manager, you will be leading our Billing Services team and ensure our customers receive accurate, transparent and timely billing across our portfolio. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our energy strategy and helping us move closer to our ambition of becoming net zero carbon.
You will oversee the full billing lifecycle, from customer onboarding and meter data integrity to invoicing, collections and financial reconciliation, while ensuring our energy systems remain robust, compliant and fit for purpose. You will manage and develop the Billing Services team, champion process improvements to provide accurate reporting, resolve data exceptions and maintain the integrity of our energy platforms. This is a hands‑on leadership role where accuracy, collaboration and a passion for operational excellence are key.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience working within a property or utilities environment
- Strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse energy and utilities data and recharge tenants accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ability to learn new systems confidently (TEAM Sigma or Qube desirable)
- Experience or understanding of Direct Debit processes
- Confidence in managing and motivating a team, with a focus on development and performance
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Highly organised, able to work to strict deadlines and manage competing priorities
This role requires you to be in the office 4 days a week.
