About us
Worksop College and Ranby House; one community set across two schools - educating children from age two to eighteen. We're proud of being a broad-ability school with a focus firmly on progress, recognising that every child has their own set of skills and abilities, whether it be academic, sporting, musical or otherwise. We believe that education is about more than the flight towards academic success, but about human flourishing. We want our students to be the very best version of themselves. If they are destined to attend an established University, here is where they will flourish, or if they are an outstanding sportsperson, here is where they will hone their skills. Perhaps they are a talented artist or musician, here is where they’d perfect their craft, but if these talents are yet to be revealed, here is where they’ll be discovered. We are a remarkable school, in a stunning setting, with exceptional facilities and a talented teaching staff. At our school, what matters is the individual, their aspirations and their future.

This newly established role (Term-Time Only) is central to the strategic development of a diverse and sustainable international boarding community at Worksop College. The post-holder is an integral member of a small, fast-paced Admissions team, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality and personalised admissions experience for overseas families and international agents.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the role is responsible for managing the international admissions journey from initial enquiry through to offer and enrolment at the College. The post-holder will lead the development of international admissions activity, extending the College’s global reach and building strong, effective relationships with education consultants and agents worldwide.

- Use market insight and data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and priority international markets.
- Assist in identifying and developing relationships with key partners, including feeder schools, agents, and international organisations, to strengthen the recruitment pipeline.
- Monitor market activity and agent performance, providing regular updates and insights to support recruitment planning and decision-making.
- Produce clear reports on enquiries, conversion rates, and pupil numbers.
- Work with the Head of Marketing to support the development of targeted campaigns, publications, and digital content for international audiences.
Events & Travel
- Work with the Director of Admissions to plan and deliver an annual programme of international travel and online recruitment activity.
- Represent the College at events, school visits, and virtual engagements to promote the boarding offer and build brand awareness in key markets.
Relationship Management

- Maintain accurate agent records using the BBSN database and support the annual review and updating of agent agreements.
- Assist with the management of agent processes, including the checking and approval of commission invoices.
- Support the delivery of agent communications and marketing materials in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
- Engage with alumni, where appropriate, to support international recruitment activity.
Admissions
- Manage the admissions process for international boarding pupils, from initial enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring a responsive and personalised experience for families.
- Respond to enquiries and applications efficiently, providing clear guidance on assessments, interviews, and next steps.
- Work closely with the Head of Boarding and pastoral teams to support a smooth transition for new pupils.
- Support compliance with UKVI requirements by maintaining accurate records and following established processes.
Statutory requirements & equal opportunities
Safeguarding & Child Protection
For this post applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including, but not limited to, reference checks with previous employers, online searches, prohibition checks and a criminal record check via the Applicants Disclosure and Barring Service (including Barred List Check). All offers of employment are conditional upon the satisfactory outcome of child protection screening checks.
Disclosures
We will appoint, train, develop and promote on the basis of merit and ability alone. It is a stipulation of the Governors and a statutory requirement that members of staff appointed to Worksop College should be shown not to have any criminal record, which might prevent them accepting a post at the College. Accordingly, the College requires permission from all members of staff to make an appropriate investigation. Offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory outcome of this enquiry.
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
