This newly established position plays a central role in developing a diverse and sustainable international boarding community at Worksop College. You will be an integral member of a small, fast-paced Admissions team, delivering a high-quality, personalised admissions experience for overseas families and international agents.
What you'll be doing
- International Strategy
- Work in close partnership with the Director of Admissions to shape and deliver a comprehensive international recruitment strategy aligned with the School's objectives and pupil targets.
- Use data-led market insight to identify key trends and emerging opportunities for growth across international markets.
- Identify and evaluate long-term strategic partnerships with feeder schools, scholarship organisations, international schools, agencies and other stakeholders to strengthen the recruitment pipeline.
- Monitor global market activity and agent performance, providing clear reporting and insight to inform strategic planning and day-to-day recruitment activity.
- Produce regular, detailed reports on enquiries, conversion rates, agent effectiveness and pupil numbers.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to create targeted publications, campaigns, advertising and digital content tailored to specific countries and regions.
- Events and Travel
- In collaboration with the Director of Admissions, develop and deliver an annual international travel plan in line with the recruitment strategy.
- Represent the College at overseas and online recruitment events to strengthen presence, profile and visibility in key markets.
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international agents, using the British Boarding Schools Network (BBSN) database and ensuring accurate records.
- Identify key existing and emerging markets and develop strong relationships with educational consultants and agents.
- Manage agent contracts, ensuring they are accurate and updated annually, and authorise all pupil commission invoices.
- Implement a structured agent engagement strategy, providing regular updates and campaign materials in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with alumni, engaging them in recruitment activities as appropriate.
- Admissions
- Lead the full admissions journey for international boarding pupils from first enquiry to arrival on campus, delivering a highly personalised and engaging experience.
- Work closely with the Head of Boarding and pastoral teams to ensure every new boarder feels welcomed and confident during their transition.
- Respond to enquiries and manage applications efficiently and sensitively, offering clear, timely and reassuring guidance throughout the process.
- Ensure the College remains fully compliant with UKVI requirements, maintaining accurate records and robust processes.
- Champion boarding internally, partnering with staff across the College to highlight the contribution boarding makes to the pupil experience.

- A proven ability to work to targets and contribute to growth-focused recruitment or sales objectives.
