PA to Senior Deputy Head Pastoral and Deputy Head Academic Location: Nottinghamshire Job Type: Permanent, Part Time Hours: Term time with some holiday requirement Closing Date: 31 July 2025 To provide comprehensive, professional administrative and organisational support to the Deputy Head Pastoral and Deputy Head Academic. The PA will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of their offices and play a key role in supporting academic staff recruitment and onboarding processes. There may be some flexibility, but the working hours of the role are anticipated to be predominantly during term time, with some requirement to work in the school holidays, and this will be discussed at interview. Key Responsibilities: – • Manage diaries, appointments, and meetings for both Deputy Heads, ensuring efficient use of time and avoiding conflicts • Prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and manage follow-up correspondence for meetings • Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries to the Deputy Heads\’ offices and manage all correspondence professionally • Maintain accurate records and files (digital and physical) in accordance with school policies • Assist with the preparation of pastoral and academic reports, presentations, and communications • Support the planning and coordination of whole-school events, such as INSET, parents\’ evenings, academic forums, or wellbeing initiatives • Coordinate student tracking and data collation as directed and provide ad hoc support to the Senior Leadership Team • Support the academic recruitment process including drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and preparing interview packs • Liaise with HR to ensure compliance with safer recruitment policies and assist with reference checking and onboarding processes • Serve as liaison between Deputy Heads and internal departments, academic staff, parents, and external stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality Where we are Set in 400 acres of stunning North Nottinghamshire woodland, Worksop College and Ranby House has the benefit of a sprawling campus, with some of the best facilities in the county.
