Production Assistant

Our client based in Southampton is a leading manufacturer of power & electrical equipment are looking to recruit a Production Assistant. A fulfilling and rewarding career within our client s production team is on offer to the correct candidate.

Hours:

• 7.30am 4pm, Monday to Friday with no evening, weekend or bank holiday working.

Initial duties will include:

• Operation of laser label and other machines/power tools
• Maintain a clean working and safe environment
• Ability to perform material handling tasks effectively while adhering to safety standards
• Assist with stock control and process as per internal procedures
• Assisting with general duties within the branch as required
• Previous experience in manufacturing desirable
• Assisting with collections/deliveries as required

Key Skills:

• Must be a team player with a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the company and staff
• Ability to plan and organise work
• Strong attention to detail
• UK Full Driving Licence
