Salary - £40,000 + Commission (OTE £45,000–£48,000) + Company Car

The Opportunity
Are you passionate about construction with proven sales experience and a passion for face-to-face customer engagement?
Join a well-established trade-focused business and take ownership of customer engagement across five regional trade stores.You’ll spend most of your time visiting customers and prospects, increasing store footfall, generating new opportunities and supporting sales growth.
The Regional Store Sales Representative will work to a structured schedule, typically covering customers within around 20 minutes of each store.
This is a field-based role combining independent sales activity with close collaboration across store and regional sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites systematically to promote the brand, distribute catalogs and drive store visits.
- Increase footfall and sales across five regional trade stores.
- Identify new customers, opportunities and market intelligence within each local area.
- Refer larger opportunities to the relevant regional account manager for follow-up.
- Visit new customers and sites identified by the business development team.
- Work with store managers to support quotes, enquiries and customer follow-up.
- Support trade events and customer engagement activities.
- Provide occasional cover within trade stores when required.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Proven sales experience with a strong track record of success.
- Exceptional face-to-face communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and target driven.
- Passion for developing smaller but commercially significant customers.
- Confident working independently across a defined region.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify new opportunities.
Hours
Office hours Monday to Friday (earlier starts available due to nature of business)
May be able to offer an element of hybrid work if competent
The Regional Store Sales Representative will spend five days per week visiting customers, with store support as required and one day per month at head office for reviews and catch-ups
