Painter & Decorator | Bosham P018 | £21 Per Hour | 2–3 Weeks – Temporary | Monday 12th October Are you an experienced Painter & Decorator with strong masonry preparation skills, your own van and tools, looking for your next contract? A well-established company is looking for a reliable Painter & Decorator to work on a high-end property in Bosham, carrying out external brickwork preparation and masonry coating works. This Painter & Decorator role offers 2–3 weeks' work with an ASAP start date, carrying out preparation and finishing works to achieve a high-quality finish on a high-end property. The successful Painter & Decorator will be responsible for carefully preparing painted brickwork, carrying out any necessary stabilisation and applying masonry coatings using the correct preparation and application procedures. The ideal person will have strong experience in external painting, brickwork preparation and masonry coatings, with a keen eye for detail and a high standard of workmanship and provide 2 x sources of references. Duties Carry out painting and decorating works to a high-end property. Prepare existing painted brickwork by carefully scraping back where required. Fill damaged or uneven areas to achieve a suitable surface. Stabilise areas of brickwork where necessary before coating. Prepare surfaces using the correct procedures before painting. Apply masonry coatings using the appropriate preparation and application methods. Maintain clean and organised work areas. Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator. Strong experience with external painting and masonry coatings. Experience preparing painted brickwork. Confident carrying out filling and surface preparation. Own van and tools are essential. Reliable with strong timekeeping. High attention to detail and quality of finish.
