Our client specializes in manufacturing different gearing systems, in this job you will work as part of a team to produce precision spec components for clients in the aerospace and automotive industry, working alongside different departments to support production flow throughout the unit. Key Responsibilities: Responsible to set up and perform necessary lapping ops on inside and/or outside diameters of various precision parts using various measuring equipment; Provide assistance to all areas in the team when required (including lapping, polishing, straightening, deburring, part marking and cleaning of components) Cleaning of components prior to inspection; Ensure machines are operated according to site and manufacturer’s recommendations; Meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards; Keep the working environment clean and tidy and practise good housekeeping; Be punctual at all times; Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required.
