Workshop Recruitment are looking for experienced labourers provide general labouring support for PPM, reactive maintenance and void repairs to the local councils housing and corporate assets. From time to time, you may be required to support other maintenance contracts such. Our client’s property portfolio includes, but is not limited to, social housing, schools, public conveniences, offices, heritage sites and museums. A full, clean current driving licence is needed so you can drive one of our vans. This is a permanent role and is subject to DBS, Criminal Background and DVLA checks. The key activities you will undertake in this role will be; Working alongside groundworkers in the undertaking a variety of repairs such as fencing, drainage, concrete repairs and paving. Work alongside Roofers in the undertaking of pitched and flat roof repairs. Assist tradespersons with general labouring requirements where needed. Clearing and collecting waste materials by transporting them to a waste transfer station. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To always protect the tenants’ property before starting the work and leave the property clean and tidy having completed the work. Ensure your van is clean and tidy with ease of access to tools, equipment, and van stock at all times. To have the right tools for the jobs you will be performing at all times.
