To proactively sell company products and services through inbound and outbound telephone calls. A knowledge of dealing with wholesaler or electrical contractors ideally with knowledge of lighting. Main Duties Winning new business using a focused pro-active sales approach to dealing with incoming enquiries Gaining new customers & sales through pro-active daily calls to electrical wholesalers / contractors. Ability to work to and exceed weekly Key Performance Targets. Manage clients and prospective clients in your allocated area – Raising quotes, up and cross selling, control discounts, order entry. Attend trade shows, breakfast mornings, training and site visits if required. This could involve extra hours Answer all incoming enquiries in a timely and professional manner Assist External Sales Managers in your area Generating leads via outbound sales activity Have a list of anticipated orders due for your area Be able to forward forecast for your area to help with the buying Manage and develop a database of electrical wholesalers which includes sales values, quote values, conversion rates and customer feedback on product and pricing Skills and Knowledge Previous outbound sales or account management experience Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of electrical wholesaler / contractor market (knowledge of lighting desirable) Well organised Good administration skills Ability to pick up new systems and product ranges quickly
