Are you an organised, confident administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? We are looking for a Service Coordinator / Administrator to join a busy maintenance and repairs team. You’ll play a key role in coordinating operatives and subcontractors, managing appointments, keeping systems up to date and ensuring customers receive an efficient, professional service.
This is a varied role where strong organisation, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. You’ll be proactive, reliable and customer-focused, with the ability to work well under pressure and use your own initiative.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating daily schedules for operatives and subcontractors.
- Allocating the right people to jobs based on skills, availability and location.
- Managing repair appointments and ensuring works are completed on time.
- Updating systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing shared inboxes and responding to customer and internal queries.
- Recording information from operatives, subcontractors and clients.
- Ordering materials and equipment when required.
- Supporting customer satisfaction surveys and monthly reporting.
- Identifying and escalating issues to the Service or Contract Manager.
- Supporting the team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous administration, coordination, scheduling or customer service experience.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- A good understanding of geographical areas and route planning.
- Ideally, some knowledge of building maintenance or different trades.
Hours: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday & must be able to commit to a 12 month fixed term contract. Various company benefits and free parking onsite.
