Our client based in the Havant area is looking for a Delivery Driver. The main duties of this role are to assist the warehouse team by delivering the already picked and packed products from the warehouse to the various sites in and around the local area. There may at times be the need to help with the picking and packing of the products and the unloading of goods at the site. For this reason, you must have a good level of physical fitness.
This is a full-time role consisting of 40 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break.
Duties Include:- Driving delivery vehicles (you will drive vehicles up to the size of a Mercedes Sprinter)
- Assisting with picking and packing of products (if required)
- Assisting with loading and unloading products (if required)
- Ensuring company vehicles are kept clean and tidy
- Full clean driving licence and ability to drive larger vans and/or a flatbed truck
- Previous delivery experience necessary
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
- Good local geographical knowledge
