Join a growing engineering business that has expanded significantly over the last couple of years and is continuing to build their team.

This is a field-based Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer position, working mainly within a 20-mile radius of Basingstoke.

You’ll work independently across planned and reactive maintenance.

The role is commercial-focused, with no domestic work, and includes an existing one-in-six on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial AC systems.

Diagnose and repair reactive breakdowns efficiently.

Maintain and service complex VRV/VRF equipment.

Attend out-of-hours breakdowns as part of the on-call rota.

Complete service reports and relevant documentation accurately.

Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.

Work independently while maintaining high service standards.

Support the continued growth of the engineering team.

Skills & Knowledge Required

Minimum of 2 years independent field experience in commercial air conditioning.

Strong experience working with complex VRV/VRF systems.

Current F-Gas certification.

Level 2 NVQ Diploma (City & Guilds 6187) or equivalent.

Full, clean UK driving licence.

Strong commercial awareness and work ethic.

Excellent communication skills.

PASMA and IPAF certification are preferred but not essential.

Additional Information The Air Conditioning Engineer will participate in a one-week-in-six on-call rota.

OOH call-outs are paid at 1.5x, 2x or 2.5x, depending on the time/day, with a minimum four-hour payment and door-to-door travel paid
