SMT Operator
Location: Havant
Pay: £18.65 per hour – Double Days | £20.76 per hour – Nights
Shifts: Double Days & Nights Available
Contract: Temporary, with potential Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate
Workshop Recruitment are currently looking for experienced SMT Operators to join a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating Siplace/ASM SMT machinery, although candidates with other relevant SMT/SMR experience will also be considered.
The Role
- Operate SMT placement machinery and associated production equipment.
- Set up and run SMT production processes to specification.
- Monitor machinery and production output to maintain quality standards.
- Carry out routine checks and identify production issues.
- Work to engineering drawings, production instructions and quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within an SMT manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating SMT.
- Ability to follow production instructions and quality procedures.
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a production team.
Desirable
- Siplace / ASM experience.
- Experience with SMT machine setup and changeovers.
- Electronics manufacturing experience.
