Workshop Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a successful and innovative manufacturing business in Havant.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who has previously worked night shifts and led medium-sized production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead medium-sized manufacturing teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
- Ensure production plans are delivered efficiently and to schedule.
- Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions where required.
- Promote and maintain high Health & Safety and quality standards.
- Manage production headcount in line with agreed budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure effective shift handovers and communication.
- Coach, develop and hold Production Leaders and Operatives accountable.
- Provide overall supervision of night-shift operations, including maintenance and security.
About You
- Previous experience working night shifts within a manufacturing/production environment.
- Proven experience leading medium-sized teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong people-management, leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience working with KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and quality requirements.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on achieving results.
