Workshop Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a successful and innovative manufacturing business in Havant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who has previously worked night shifts and led medium-sized production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead medium-sized manufacturing teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
  • Ensure production plans are delivered efficiently and to schedule.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions where required.
  • Promote and maintain high Health & Safety and quality standards.
  • Manage production headcount in line with agreed budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers and communication.
  • Coach, develop and hold Production Leaders and Operatives accountable.
  • Provide overall supervision of night-shift operations, including maintenance and security.

About You

  • Previous experience working night shifts within a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Proven experience leading medium-sized teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor or similar leadership role.
  • Strong people-management, leadership and coaching skills.
  • Experience working with KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and quality requirements.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on achieving results.
