A well-established, local business specialising in technical product solutions is looking for a Hire Coordinator to join the team. You will take ownership of customer hire requirements from initial enquiry through to off-hire, coordinating equipment, logistics, engineers and customer accounts.
This is a varied, high-impact role where organisation, communication and quick thinking are essential. You’ll play a key part in delivering excellent customer service while helping maintain strong fleet utilisation.
Duties & Responsibilities include..
Manage customer hire enquiries and provide proactive support throughout each hire.
Prepare accurate quotations covering equipment, delivery, fuel and third-party costs.
Identify opportunities to introduce relevant products and services to existing customers.
Coordinate availability, preparation, delivery, installation, extensions and off-hire collections.
Monitor fleet availability and maintenance to support utilisation above 75%.
Coordinate servicing, inspections, callouts and repairs with Service Coordinators.
Evaluate supplier quotations, raise purchase orders and review third-party invoices.
Maintain accurate customer, pricing, asset and contract information within the CRM.
