Summer Student Opportunities:

  • Operations: Our Operations team directly helps people who have been injured or made ill because of work. Some areas that have hired summer students include: Care Navigation, Contract Management, Healthcare Payment, Health Services Management, Mental Stress Injuries Program, Professional Practice, Return to Work, Serious Injury Program.
  • Service Excellence: Our Service Excellence team is dedicated to supporting the WSIB's customers. Some areas that have hired summer students include: Employer Account Services, Claims Registration, Health and Safety Program Design and Enablement, Program Effectiveness, Service Excellence Administrative, Workforce Management.
  • Technology: Our Technology team supports the organization by providing electronic solutions, data analysis and reporting, and managing our vendors and suppliers. Some areas that have hired summer students include: Business and Advanced Analytics, Customer and Channel Experience, Information Management Shared Service, IT Portfolio and Planning, IT Performance Management, IT Security and Risk Management, IT Application Management Services, Client Engagement and Service Delivery.
  • Finance: Our Finance team is responsible for the financial health and integrity of the organization. Some areas that have hired summer students include: Actuarial Services, Cash Disbursements, Loss of Retirement Income, Procurement Analysis, Reporting and Quality, Treasury.
  • People: Our People team provides comprehensive human resources advice and services to the organization. Some areas that have hired summer students include: Accessibility Office, Campus Recruitment & Partnerships, Communications, Emergency Management & Business Continuity, Employee and Labour Relations, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Business Ethics, HR Analytics, Language Services, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition.
  • Risk and Governance: The Governance team supports, educates, and champions effective governance across the organization. Some areas that have hired summer students include: Corporate Compliance, Corporate Risk Management Services, Enterprise Portfolio Governance, Legal Services, Office of the President, Real Estate and Facilities Management Services, Strategy and Planning.

Professional Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in Ontario, Canada full time (36.25 hours/week).
  • Currently be a post-secondary student who is enrolled as a full-time, post-secondary student in a recognized institution in September 2026.
  • Available to work for the entire duration of the summer (May 4, 2026 – September 4, 2026) full time with no planned absences.

  • Copy of your most recent GPA transcript.
  • Proof of enrollment for the September 2025 and/or September 2026 school year.
