Current opportunity: Proposal Specialist
Location: United Kingdom
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Remote

What you will do: The Proposal Specialist manages the full proposal lifecycle—from RFP receipt to submission—ensuring compliant, compelling, and high-quality responses. This role partners closely with sales, SMEs, and corporate teams to develop winning proposals that meet client needs and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end proposal development, including compliance, scheduling, drafting, editing, and submission
- Write and edit high-quality, customer-focused proposal content and bespoke responses
- Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, win themes, and executive summaries
- Coordinate inputs from SMEs, sales, marketing, legal, finance, and HR
- Lead and facilitate proposal reviews, interviews, and debriefs
- Ensure quality assurance, consistency, and adherence to WPO standards
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and recommend improvements
- Maintain and contribute content to the proposal content library
- Track proposal metrics and support continuous improvement
- Mentor junior proposal team members and support internal training
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in proposal writing or a related role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent Dutch, French and English writing, editing, and communication skills
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and InDesign
- Strong understanding of proposal strategy, win themes, and document design
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
