Role: IT Field IMAC Engineer
Location: North England and Scotland (Ideally based Liverpool / Manchester)
Salary: £35,000 Basic
Additional Allowance: Guaranteed £2,500 per year payable monthly to cover unsocial travel hours

About Workplace IT
Workplace IT provides CAF Compliant Co-Managed IT Services and Digital Safeguarding to large Health, Social Care, Housing, Education, Charity and Public Sector organisations across the UK.
As a Field (IMAC) Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering on-site technical services, installations, projects and customer onboarding activities across our client base. You will act as the face of Workplace IT Technologies, building trusted relationships with clients whilst ensuring the successful delivery of support, deployment and project services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional on-site technical support, troubleshooting and technical assistance across client locations.
- Respond to urgent site visits and major incidents when required.
- Deliver scheduled floor-walking and end-user support services.
- Install, configure and deploy laptops, desktops, monitors, telephony equipment and associated peripherals.
- Support office relocations, desk moves, technology refresh programmes and site migrations.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Cat5e / Cat6 and wireless network infrastructure.
- Assist with Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot and endpoint deployment projects.
- Support customer onboarding activities, acquisitions and the integration of new sites into existing IT environments.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and become a valued extension of their internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of all activity within our service management platform and documentation systems.
- Work closely with Service Desk, Provisioning and Project teams to ensure successful service delivery.
- Provide support to the Service Desk and Provisioning teams when not travelling.
- Follow Workplace IT operational processes, CAF controls, security standards and customer-specific requirements.
