Marketing Manager (B2B Technology & Professional Services) Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 DOE + Performance Bonus Location: King's Lynn, Norfolk (Hybrid) Reporting To: Managing Director
About Workplace IT Workplace IT delivers Co-Managed IT Services, Cyber Assurance, Digital Safeguarding, and CAF-aligned advisory services to large Health, Social Care, Housing, Education, and Public Sector organisations across the UK.
Operating from King's Lynn (KLIC Building), we are looking for a commercially focused Marketing Manager to build awareness, generate high-value opportunities, and support our growth as we evolve from a traditional MSP into a premier digital assurance and advisory business.
The Role As our standalone internal marketing lead, you will shape and drive the entire marketing function. You will act as the strategic link between our internal technical expertise and our external agency partners, turning technical success stories and deep industry insights into high-impact campaigns, content, and commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver the annual marketing and commercial growth strategy
Manage specialist external partners across web, design, and SEO to maximize campaign performance
Drive lead generation, website traffic, and marketing automation / CRM reporting
Shape and deliver our annual employer branding and talent attraction marketing strategy (30% focus)
Create and curate high-quality content for LinkedIn, the company website, email campaigns, and major sector publications
Collaborate directly with technical teams to extract and develop thought leadership material
Build and manage targeted account-based campaigns for Health, Social Care, Housing, Education, and Public Sector audiences
Own client newsletters, sector communications, and customer success/case study write-ups
Provide strategic marketing and positioning support for high-value bid, tender, and proposal activities
Coordinate regional events, industry webinars, and client engagement initiatives
What We're Looking For 5+ years' experience in B2B marketing, ideally within a technology, software, or professional services environment
Proven ability to act as a project manager, confidently directing external agencies and vendor budgets to hit targets
Strong content creation and copywriting skills with a knack for translating complex tech into compelling business value
Practical experience managing websites, LinkedIn strategies, email marketing, and marketing automation / CRM tools
A sharp commercial mindset with a relentless focus on measurable growth and ROI
Total confidence working directly with senior leaders, directors, and deep technical specialists
Prior exposure to or a strong interest in B2B technology environments, including AI, Cloud Integration, or Data tools, is highly advantageous
What We Offer £45,000 to £55,000 base salary depending on experience

1 x Anchor Day Per Week in the King's Lynn Office.
