Role Overview

The Bid Operations Manager is responsible for managing all pre-qualification submissions, bid library content, and credentials documentation. This role ensures early-stage submissions are accurate, compliant, and of the highest quality. You will oversee the Bid Administrator, developing and maintaining reusable content, CVs, case studies, policies, and accreditations that underpin all tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and completion of PQQs, supplier questionnaires, and early-stage bid documents.
  • Oversee the Bid Administrator, providing guidance, quality control, and professional development.
  • Maintain and develop the group-wide bid content library, ensuring CVs, case studies, and supporting policies are up-to-date and compelling.
  • Develop tailored credentials packs and capability documents to support new business opportunities.
  • Ensure all pre-tender documents are consistent, accurate, and delivered on time.
  • Support the Head of Bids in refining processes, templates, and internal workflows.

Essential Experience

  • Experience leading PQQ and credential submissions.
  • Strong knowledge of early-stage bid processes and supplier questionnaires.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in construction, fit-out, or the built environment.
  • Experience using InDesign or other design/layout software.
  • Familiarity with AI-supported drafting tools.
