About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Bid Designer/Coordinator to play a pivotal role within our bid production team. This position is key in ensuring our bid submissions are visually impactful, consistent with our brand, and efficiently produced. The ideal candidate will bring strong graphic design skills and experience in bid coordination, collaborating with the bid team to enhance quality and efficiency across all submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Oversight of Bid Design
- Oversight and coordination of graphic design for bid submissions, ensuring high visual standards and consistency across documents, presentations and materials.
- Develop and maintain bid templates, layouts, and brand assets to improve production speed and quality.
- Collaborate with bid coordinators to provide design guidance, setting expectations for design quality and consistency.
- Assist with the creation, editing, and formatting of bid responses to ensure high visual and content quality.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in bid production to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Conduct quality reviews of bid materials, ensuring they meet high standards before submission.
- Provide guidance to bid coordinators, helping to develop their graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Suite, Ceros (or similar)).
- Support knowledge-sharing and continuous development within the team to improve overall design capabilities.
Graphic Design Support for the Group
- Provide graphic design support across the wider group, working on presentations, branding, brochures, marketing collateral, videos, and general design needs.
- Ensure consistency across all group-wide visual assets, aligning them with brand guidelines and high-quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong background in graphic design with proven experience in bid design or document production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, After Effects.
- Experience with interactive bid presentations and digital content creation tools like Ceros.
- Experience in bid coordination or design, ideally within professional services, construction, or design-and-build sectors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency and clarity.
