The Bid Manager supports the delivery of high-quality, visually consistent, and well-structured bid submissions from receipt through to post-tender interview. The role focuses on bid coordination, content management, and supporting the creative delivery of bids, ensuring all materials come together clearly, accurately, and on time. Working as part of the wider bid team, the Bid Manager helps manage information, supports visual and content development, and contributes to producing cohesive, client-focused submissions.

  • Bid Set-Up & Coordination
    • Support the coordination of bids from receipt through to post-tender interview
    • Attend bid kick-off meetings and assist with confirming actions, deadlines, and return format
    • Set up and maintain bid folder structures and document control
    • Track deadlines and support the bid team in managing information and deliverables
    • Organise and file incoming communications and project information
    • Assist in coordinating inputs to support timely and complete submissions
  • Concept & Template Support
    • Develop concept bid designs with the Project Designers and Directors
    • Coordinate visual elements including layouts, diagrams, imagery, and supporting graphics
    • Build tender templates based on the bid requirements structure, including CVs, case studies, and generic pages
    • Ensure all materials follow the agreed concept, structure, and client brand
  • Content Review & Editing
    • Proofread and check written content for clarity, consistency, and alignment with WFG writing style
    • Flag content that may need further clarification or rewriting
    • Support the shaping of content to ensure it is client-focused and easy to read
    • Complete Client Research Templates to help inform tone of voice, brand alignment, and key messaging
    • Maintain regular communication with the bid team throughout the tender process
    • Coordinate input from Project Designers, Directors, and other contributors
    • Assist with workshops or concept sessions where required
    • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive bid team environment
  • Presentations & Post-Tender
    • Prepare mid-tender and post-tender interview presentations
    • Support the development of slide content and structure
    • Ensure presentation materials are clear, consistent, and aligned with the bid narrative
