Overview
Workplace Doctors is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking to expand their team of Occupational Health Advisors in North London. Our client provides effective service and advice on work related issues and health surveillance programmes. They are offering a competitive salary for the ideal candidate, who will be ambitious, self-motivated and confident. This position provides you with the opportunity of establishing your own area, networking with clients and being part of a market leading team in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified OHA, to take on a new challenge, and join a large and well-respected business in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual with management experience to further expand their skills and expertise; playing a crucial role in proving a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care our clients receive.
There will be an on-site team comprising OHN, OHA, Physio and OHT. This is a full-time opportunity with typical hours Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.00pm, with some cover occasionally until 6.00pm.
Responsibilities
- Full OH remit including case management, sickness absence, wellbeing, health promotion and health surveillance.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health, H&S and other guidelines/legislation; advise, monitor, and assess clinical practice of the OH team; assess, plan, implement, deliver and evaluate programmes of care.
- Work with divisional directors/managers to implement company objectives; recognise development needs of junior staff, take appropriate action and maintain and monitor training plans; explore and develop further OH business opportunities.
- Set up and manage a brand-new wellbeing programme for the business (60% case management, 40% wellbeing).
- Manage on-site team including OHN, OHA, Physio and OHT; operate in a dynamic environment to deliver a compassionate, professional clinical service.
- Maintain excellent client relationships, organise, prioritise and coordinate workload; demonstrate confidence and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- NMC Registration Essential (Nursing & Midwifery Council).
- Be a Registered General Nurse.
- Be on part 3 of the NMC register.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to act as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously when needed.
- Post-registration experience in a variety of settings.
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Professional awareness and ongoing professional development.
- Good knowledge base of clinical conditions.
