Reporting to the Mechanical Services Director, you will be responsible for the mechanical and public health services packages at the estimating/pre-construction stage. We are seeking an experienced professional who can manage both client and the internal processes of the mechanical team, whilst promoting positive cultures and behaviours. Our main focus is on commercial design and build projects where you will be involved with supporting our main client on projects that have already been secured.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Surveying projects and producing reports
- Production of detailed tender bids
- Organising validations as well as providing technical support to the project managers with formulating the report
- Producing fixed costs in line with the scope and design
You will be able to demonstrate at least 5 years’ mechanical design experience in a similar position; estimating/pre contracts experience would be advantageous. You will be experienced in strong mechanical and public health services design capabilities, with an excellent understanding of the mechanical and PH services D&B process. You will be capable of working with MS Office and PDF editors.
