The Role
As an Electrical Services CAD Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in producing accurate electrical layouts and schematics for a range of commercial projects. Reporting to the Electrical Services Director, you’ll ensure every design meets regulatory standards while maintaining the highest level of detail and safety. You’ll also support project managers and site teams throughout the design process.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and Draw: Produce high-quality electrical services layouts, sections, schematics, and detailed drawings using CAD and Revit.
- Prepare and Submit: Create equipment schedules (e.g. lighting, lighting control) and technical submissions using Microsoft Office.
- Support and Survey: Undertake site surveys and provide technical input to project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
