Workonomics are partnering with a startup solving one of the most pervasive problems in cybersecurity today. Their platform launched just 6 months after the company was founded in 2023 and crossed the $1 million ARR milestone while still in stealth mode. They recently raised £20m Series A and are now growing their team in London. They’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help tackle cloud infrastructure scalability challenges. Ultimately, they’re figuring out how to maintain a multi-region, multi-cloud environment in a fast-growing company that’s bringing on new customers with huge amounts of data.
A few big technical challenges on the roadmap you’ll be helping to solve:
- Creating a new GCP environment with a single-tenant approach
- Developing a custom K8s operator to control compute resources for their data pipelines
- Evolving an agent product which collects data from on-prem security tools
You’ll succeed here if you have experience with:
- Designing multi-environment infrastructure for highly scalable applications
- At least one modern programming language (Go / Node.js / Python)
- One or more cloud platforms (AWS / GCP) in multi-region deployments
- Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation and similar tools
- Working in a high-growth scale-up SaaS company
This will suit a platform engineer who can design, build, and implement stuff from scratch. This will not suit an engineer with a pure IT / Ops / Sys Admin / Infrastructure background.
If this sounds like you, please hit apply for more specifics about the company and role.
