Technical Engineering Manager
Salary: 100,000 – 100,000 GBP per year

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong expertise in Java development; experience with Golang, C, or Python is a plus.
4. Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
5. Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures.
6. Experience working with high-performance, data-intensive systems, including databases, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.
7. Knowledge of security best practices and a keen interest in cloud security.

Your responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of Java developers while actively contributing to coding and architecture decisions.
2. Drive the full lifecycle of software development, from design and development to deployment and monitoring.
3. Build and optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and security within AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
4. Develop eBPF-based sensors to enhance Kubernetes cluster visibility and proactive threat detection.
5. Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions based on customer feedback.
6. Ensure the continuous improvement of data-intensive systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
