Requirements:
I am looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong full-stack JavaScript development skills. You should be comfortable working on projects that are either front-end or back-end focused, or splitting your time equally between both. Experience with JavaScript frameworks is essential; while we primarily use Vue.js, experience with Angular or React is also acceptable. Ideally, you should have experience with Node.js and TypeScript as well. Additionally, you should have a good knowledge of APIs, an in-depth understanding of web development practices, and tools and technologies. I value product-focused individuals with strong business acumen, and I expect you to have full software development lifecycle experience, including CI/CD and testing. Collaboration is key, so having Agile team experience and a willingness to mentor junior developers is important. A degree in Computer Science or a related tech discipline is preferred.
Your responsibilities are:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate as part of an Agile technology team to design and develop software solutions, troubleshoot, and solve complex software issues. You will play a crucial role in scaling and future-proofing our business. Your primary focus will be front-end development using JavaScript and Vue.js, but you will have the freedom to explore and utilize a range of technologies from our tech stack, including TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Python, and some legacy PHP. I am looking for someone who emphasizes getting things done with immediate business impact while also considering long-term strategy. You will also be responsible for your own DevOps and deployment processes.
