At Jumar Solutions we are looking for a JavaScript engineer!
Our tech stack: API, AWS, CI/CD, Cloud, JavaScript, Kubernetes, Python, Ruby, Security, TDD, NodeJS.
Requirements:
- Proven Senior Development background, ideally with public sector experience.
- Experience in setting technology direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, complex, production-ready software.
- Familiarity with government strategies, though this is not essential.
- Confidence in their abilities; candidates should be forward-thinking and capable of taking on the role and responsibilities with minimal guidance.
- Experience in microservice development and containerization, preferably with Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of APIs.
- Full-stack development experience, covering at least two of the following: Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience in implementing security measures, including authentication, authorization, and SSO.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Set the technology direction, manage development processes, and contribute to the overall strategy for projects within the public sector.
- Your expertise in microservices, APIs, and cloud services will be critical in shaping our development efforts.
Location: Newgate Street, London, United Kingdom
Contract Duration: 9 months, with a daily rate of £650, inside IR35.
