Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security-related field.
  • Recognized industry qualifications such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM (or ability to achieve them).
  • Proven experience in assessing and managing risk according to industry best practices (like NIST and ISO 27001).
  • Significant experience using security baselines, mitigations, and controls.
  • An engineering background or strong familiarity with a lifecycle phased approach.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Build a risk-based set of cyber security requirements for systems or sub-systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for all aspects of cyber security and resilience.
  • Conduct cyber security analysis work, developing threat taxonomies, security architectures, security baselines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Produce test plans and schedules, as well as conduct both informal and formal cyber security testing.
  • Support engineering gated reviews and design assurance activities.
  • Produce security artifacts such as risk registers, security assurance cases, plans, and schedules.
  • Provide security input into related engineering documentation.

Please note that eligibility for SC Clearance is a requirement for this position. Our locations include Frimley, Bristol, Weymouth, Portsmouth, Barrow, or Brough.
