At JAM Recruitment Ltd, we are looking for a Security Engineer!
Requirements:
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security-related field.
- Recognized industry qualifications such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM (or be able to achieve them).
- Proven experience in assessing and managing risk according to industry best practices (like NIST and ISO 27001).
- Significant experience using security baselines, mitigations, and controls.
- An engineering background or a strong familiarity with a lifecycle phased approach.
Your responsibilities:
- Build a risk-based set of cyber security requirements for systems or sub-systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support for all aspects of cyber security and resilience.
- Conduct cyber security analysis work, developing threat taxonomies, security architectures, security baselines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Produce test plans and schedules, as well as conduct both informal and formal cyber security testing.
- Support engineering gated reviews and design assurance activities.
- Produce security artifacts such as risk registers, security assurance cases, plans, and schedules.
- Provide security input into related engineering documentation.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000 along with benefits. This role operates on a hybrid model, allowing for flexible working arrangements. Please note that eligibility for SC Clearance is a requirement for this position. Our locations include Frimley, Bristol, Weymouth, Portsmouth, Barrow, or Brough.
