We provide expert support in Employment Law, HR, Compliance, and Health and Safety, combining practical advice with cutting-edge technology to support organisations of all sizes.
We’re now looking for an ambitious professional to join us as a Senior Account Manager (Health and Safety Lead). In this role, you’ll manage, grow, and ultimately take responsibility for renewing a portfolio of between 150 and 200 clients, valued at approximately £7 million, mainly large multi-site businesses. You’ll build strong client relationships, ensure outstanding service delivery, and support business growth by shaping health and safety proposals and contributing to tender responses. This is a great opportunity for someone with Health and Safety domain expertise and commercial awareness who’s aiming to step into a future senior leadership role.
What We Offer
- Salary: Up to £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

What We’re Looking For
As Client Manager, you’ll build strong relationships through regular communication, resolving issues, and ensuring timely renewals. You’ll identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction by recommending additional services and using Salesforce to keep track of all interactions and contract progress. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll help shape tailored health and safety propositions, lead tender responses, and support business growth through your industry expertise.
Your ability to work collaboratively across teams, whether it’s Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Employment Law, or HR, will play a big part in delivering a seamless service for WorkNest clients. This collaborative approach will be key to driving organic growth, supporting new business, renewals, and handling complaints with empathy, while confidently standing your ground when needed. By keeping a close eye on Health and Safety related market trends and competitor activity, you’ll help WorkNest stay competitive and responsive to the evolving needs of our clients.
About You
We’re looking for an ambitious client manager or health and safety professional with at least 3 years of health and safety experience (Tech/Grad IOSH minimum), ideally combined with account management expertise and a background working with large, multi-site clients. You’ll bring a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and a strong ability for building lasting client relationships, and the commercial awareness to spot opportunities for growth through renewals and upselling. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, tender responses, and creating tailored client solutions is key. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast paced environment, working in a way that reflects our values while continuously driving business success forward.
