What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to maintain and enhance the user experience across our web-based applications during a period of maternity cover. Working closely with Product, Business Analysts, Developers, and clients, you’ll translate business requirements into intuitive user journeys, scalable UI patterns, and high-quality design assets that integrate seamlessly into Agile development cycles. You’ll design workflows for complex, data-driven systems, identify friction points, and embed usability and accessibility best practice into everything you create. From wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, you’ll ensure design consistency across modules and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our design system. This role suits someone who is confident operating independently, comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders and clients, and experienced working in close collaboration with Developers to deliver technically feasible, build-ready designs.
About You
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing technology-driven business where your design expertise will directly impact product quality and user experience. You’ll bring proven experience designing web-based applications, ideally within SaaS or B2B environments. You’ll have a strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, workflow design, and scalable UI systems, along with hands-on experience designing complex, data-led interfaces. Proficient in Figma, including components and design systems, you’ll understand responsive design and accessibility standards such as WCAG. Comfortable working within Agile environments, you’ll collaborate effectively with Developers and Product teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended. Confident, organised, and detail-focused, you’ll be comfortable balancing user needs, technical constraints, and commercial priorities.
