Work Nest Secure is the cyber security, information security and data protection suite of Work Nest.

The business has been formed following the merger of established cyber security brands including Bulletproof and Pentest People, bringing together deep expertise across penetration testing, cyber resilience, compliance, data protection and information security services.

We support organisations with services including penetration testing, Cyber Essentials, ISO consultancy, data protection, DPO support, vulnerability scanning, information security consultancy and wider governance, risk and compliance services.

As we continue to grow the Work Nest Secure brand across the UK and US, organic search, content performance and AI search visibility are becoming critical parts of our marketing strategy.

We’re looking for an Organic Content Specialist — SEO & AI Search to help develop and execute our organic content strategy across Work Nest Secure.

This is a hands‑on role focused on improving organic visibility, optimising priority service pages, shaping keyword targeting, supporting answer engine optimisation, and helping us build authority across cyber security, compliance services, data protection and information security.

The role would suit someone with strong SEO content experience who is ready to take more ownership of organic strategy.

You’ll be expected to not only execute SEO content work, but also help shape how we approach keyword planning, content optimisation, search intent, AI search visibility and organic growth.

Knowledge or interest in cyber security, compliance, ISO standards, data protection or information security would be a bonus, but it is not essential.

What matters most is strong SEO content experience, commercial awareness and the ability to turn search insights into practical content actions.

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing for Work Nest Secure, with support from wider digital marketing colleagues across the Work Nest Group and technical SEO support from our external agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the SEO content strategy across Work Nest Secure’s UK and US websites.
  • Help shape keyword targeting plans for core service areas including cyber security, penetration testing, ISO consultancy, Cyber Essentials, data protection, DPO support and information security.
  • Optimise priority service pages, landing pages, blogs, guides and campaign content to improve organic visibility and lead generation.
  • Use SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4 and other relevant tools to identify keyword opportunities, content gaps, ranking changes and optimisation priorities.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing, content team, wider digital team and SEO agency to prioritise organic growth activity.
  • Translate agency SEO recommendations into practical content actions and ensure agreed tasks are implemented.
  • Build and maintain SEO‑led content briefs for new and existing content.
  • Refresh and repurpose existing content to improve rankings, click‑through rates, engagement and conversion.
  • Improve on‑page SEO across metadata, headings, internal links, page structure, FAQs and search intent alignment.
  • Support answer engine optimisation and AI search visibility by structuring content to answer key buyer questions clearly and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility in featured snippets, FAQ results, AI search experiences and answer‑led discovery.
  • Support internal linking strategies across cyber, compliance, data protection, information security and sector‑specific content.
  • Help localise and optimise content for both UK and US search intent where relevant.
  • Monitor organic performance and report on traffic, keyword movement, content performance, enquiries and pipeline influence.
  • Work with campaign and comms colleagues to ensure webinars, gated downloads, Linked In campaigns and lead generation activity are supported by strong organic content.
  • Keep up to date with changes in SEO, AI search, answer engine optimisation and B2B content marketing best practice.
  • Knowledge, Skills And Experience
  • Experience in an SEO content, organic content, content marketing or search‑focused role.
  • Strong understanding of on‑page SEO, keyword research, search intent and content optimisation.
  • Experience using SEMrush for keyword research, competitor analysis, content opportunities and performance tracking.
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console and GA4.
  • Ability to turn keyword and search data into practical content briefs and optimisation plans.
  • Experience optimising service pages, landing pages, blogs, guides or long‑form content for organic search.
  • Understanding of how content supports lead generation, conversion and pipeline in a B2B environment.
  • Comfortable working with agencies, digital teams, content creators and senior marketing stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise activity based on commercial value, search opportunity and business need.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Good understanding of content structure, page hierarchy, metadata, internal linking and FAQs.
  • Awareness of AI search, answer engine optimisation, featured snippets and how search behaviour is changing.
  • Interest in cyber security, compliance, data protection, ISO standards or information security would be beneficial, but is not required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment where organic search is a key growth priority.
  • About AEO And AI Search

As search evolves, this role will also support our approach to answer engine optimisation and AI search visibility.

This means helping us create and structure content that clearly answers the questions buyers are asking across traditional search engines, Google AI Overviews, featured snippets and AI‑led search experiences.

For Work Nest Secure, This Could Include Questions Such As

• What is the difference between ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials?

• How often should a business complete penetration testing?

• Do we need a DPO?

• What does DORA mean for financial services firms?

• How long does ISO 27001 certification take?

• What should be included in a cyber resilience strategy?

The successful candidate does not need to be a technical AI specialist, but should be interested in how SEO, content and AI‑led discovery are evolving.

  • What Success Looks Like
  • Improved organic visibility across priority UK and US service areas.
  • Stronger rankings for commercially important cyber, compliance and information security keywords.
  • Better performance from key service pages and campaign landing pages.

The role has a clear progression pathway for someone who wants to develop into an Organic Content Lead, SEO & Organic Growth Lead or SEO Manager over time.
