The role:
As an Employment Law Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, commercially focused employment law and employee relations advice to a portfolio of clients. Working within our fixed-fee model, you will be able to focus on providing clear, pragmatic solutions without the constraints of time recording or billing pressures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing legally sound, practical employment law advice to clients
- Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships
- Supporting senior advisors with client meetings and proposals
- Managing early conciliation matters and liaising with employee representatives
- Delivering client training on employment law topics
- Supporting and mentoring paralegals and trainees
About you:
This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor or an employment law / employee relations professional with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. You will demonstrate:
- A strong grounding in employment law and employee relations
- The ability to provide clear, pragmatic and commercially aware advice
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A client-focused approach, with a commitment to high standards of service
- An interest in working within a fixed-fee, advisory-led environment where success is measured by client outcomes rather than billable hours
