Workmate Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing and dynamic food business supplying high-quality produce to hotels, pubs, and restaurants across the UK. As part of a wider group that includes premium catering and hospitality ventures, this is an exciting opportunity to join a company that truly invests in its people and their career progression. We are currently seeking a Store Person to join their busy and expanding team in Bicester. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and takes pride in delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for delivery drivers and couriers, ensuring a professional and friendly welcome
- Accurately check, process, and record all incoming deliveries and paperwork
- Coordinate and distribute deliveries efficiently across departments
- Identify and report discrepancies, liaising with suppliers and internal teams
- Assist with stock checks and ensure accurate inventory records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised goods-in area
- Support waste management processes across the site
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Positive, “can-do” attitude with a team-oriented mindset
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks
- Flexi/Reach Truck Licence (preferred but not essential)
