Senior Multi Trader

Workman’s Recruitment is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Team Lead Multi-Trader to lead a dynamic trades team within a medium-sized housing association.\\n\\nAs a Team Lead Multi-Trader, you will oversee a team of multi-trade operatives responsible for reactive, planned, and void refurbishment maintenance in occupied domestic properties. These properties primarily house individuals with disabilities or learning difficulties, making strong communication skills and a calm, patient approach essential.\\n\\nLocation:\\n\\nThis role will require you to travel across the South Of England to areas like Hampshire, Surrey, Devon, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Cambridgeshire.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Carrying out trade work as needed, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, kitchen/bathroom fitting, and general maintenance.\\n\\n * Providing technical support and guidance to the multi-trade team.\\n\\n * Monitoring and ensuring job completion to the correct standard, on time, and within budget.\\n\\n * Logging and updating jobs using a traffic code system.\\n\\n * Managing staff schedules, authorizing holidays, and tracking sick leave.\\n\\n * Working closely with the Contracts Manager, HR, and Senior Management to ensure smooth operations.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * Full UK Manual Driving License.\\n\\n * Confident With IT\\n\\n * Being able to manage a team of trades staff\\n\\n * Previous experience in a maintenance or multi-trade role.\\n\\n * Experience in the social housing sector (preferred but not essential).\\n\\n * City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in a specific trade (preferred but not essential).\\n\\nSalary & Benefits\\n\\n * £38,500 per annum.\\n\\n * 24 days holiday + bank holidays, plus your birthday off!\\n\\n * Fully equipped company van & fuel card\\n\\n * Flexible working hours\\n\\n * Makita power tool kit\\n\\n * Great pension scheme\\n\\n * Private health insurance & sick pay.\\n\\nWorking Hours\\n\\n * 35 hours per week.\\n\\n * Monday – Friday with flexible working hours
