Job description: Join a well-established contractor with over 80 years of experience, working alongside some of the largest housing associations and local councils across the Southeast to maintain quality housing stock. You\βll become part of a team that prioritises professional development and career progression. Coverage Area: You\βll be travelling to properties across Kent and Sussex, including Eastbourne, Burgess Hill, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Margate, Dover, Chatham, Bromley and surrounding areas. Your Responsibilities: * Carpentry β fitting and hanging doors, skirting boards, architraves, kitchen worktops * Bricklaying β replacing damaged bricks, repointing, installing brick slips * Plastering β patch repairs up to one square meter * Painting and decorating β both internal and external work * General maintenance β various multi-trade tasks as required Essential Requirements: * Full manual UK driving license * Proven experience in social housing or residential construction * NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery or related trade qualification * Strong health and safety knowledge What We Offer: * Salary: Β£37,000 per annum * Vehicle: Company van with fuel card * Holiday: 21 days plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off * Benefits: Company pension, medical insurance, life insurance * Support: Full sick pay, regular company events, employee discounts portal Working Pattern: * Monday to Friday, 8:00am β 5:00pm (40 hours per week including 1-hour lunch break)
