Our client is a long-established refurbishment contractor delivering building maintenance, planned works, and improvement programmes across the public sector. The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join a busy and growing bid team. The role is suited to someone who is confident managing a high turnover of live bids, can work independently, and is able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling, and fully compliant responses for PQQs, ITTs, and tender submissions
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously to tight deadlines
- Review tender documentation to ensure full compliance and alignment with client requirements
- Liaise with internal teams to gather technical, commercial, and operational inputs
- Edit and refine content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality throughout submissions
- Support the maintenance of bid libraries, templates, and standard responses
Essential Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ bid writing experience
- Ideally from a construction, refurbishment, or built environment background
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids concurrently
- Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
