Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded, long-established social housing contractor that has been trading for 80 years. They specialise in servicing long-term and unique planned capital works, cyclical decorations, major works, and retrofit schemes for some of the largest housing associations and councils across the UK.
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for directly engaging with residents to build strong relationships and ensure they are informed about upcoming and ongoing construction projects that may affect them. Your role will involve keeping residents updated with the latest news and addressing any concerns they may have throughout the construction process.
Location: You will be responsible for covering various locations across West London, including areas such as Ruislip, Hayes, Hillingdon, and Uxbridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and addressing residents' concerns and complaints due to access arrangements, delays or changes in works affecting their homes.
- Send letters to residents making them aware of upcoming projects that may affect their homes or surrounding areas.
- In home visits to residents offering support, advice, and information on works being carried out to their homes.
- Advise and update managers of the likely effects of capital works on residents.
- Build strong relationships with residents to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participating in meetings alongside the construction team to discuss planned construction works to ensure smooth communication across all departments.
- Collaborate with fellow Resident Liaison Officers to ensure efficiency in project execution.
- Arranging appointments for painters and subcontractors, where necessary.
Requirements:
- Full UK Manual Driving License
- Strong face-to-face customer service experience
- Confident, calm, and adaptable communicator
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse communities
- Basic IT proficiency
