Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded, long-established social housing contractor that has been trading for 80 years. They specialise in servicing long-term and unique planned capital works, cyclical decorations, major works, and retrofit schemes for some of the largest housing associations and councils across the UK. Due to expansion of an existing contract they are looking for a Repairs Supervisor to cover the entirety of South and Southeast London. You will play a major role in overseeing the standard of the work, site inspections, audits, and the day-to-day management of internal and external contractors.
The work will include, but is not limited to, cladding installations such as external wall insulation (EWI) for solid brick properties as well as the replacement of fascia, soffits, and guttering.
Key Responsibilities & Works:- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring all contractors work meets safety and compliance standards.
- Pre-work inspections, set up work areas, and post-inspections.
- Maintain strong relationships with the client, the public, and contractors.
- Toolbox Talks, Risk Assessment Method Statements, Van Checks, Safe Start Meetings, and conduct on-site welfare checks.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure KPIs are met and the work is to client specification.
- Weekly meetings reporting progress and updates to the Contracts Manager.
- Offer technical advice to staff on the site to internal and external contractors.
- Full UK Manual Driving license.
