The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
You’ll be part of a team delivering a full range of property management services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail properties. A key feature of our programme is early and consistent client exposure—giving you the opportunity to build relationships and develop confidence in real-world settings from the outset.
You’ll also collaborate closely with our ESG, Facilities Management, Property Accounting, and Building Surveying teams, gaining broad exposure across disciplines. As part of the programme, you’ll earn your IOSH certificate and attend external events and forums.
Graduate pathways:- RICS-accredited degree: 24-month programme designed to support you in completing the APC to become a chartered Surveyor
- Non-RICS accredited degree: 30-month programme designed to support you in completing an MSc in Commercial Real Estate and APC to become a chartered Surveyor.
- Apprentice pathway: 5 Year programme designed to support you in completing a BSc in Commercial Real Estate and the APC to become a chartered Surveyor
This position is full-time, with on-job training, complemented by attendance to external events and forums.
Graduate pre-requisites:- RICS Accredited Degree for the Commercial Real Estate Pathway, with honors at lower second standard (2:21) or equivalent and GCSE grade 4 (or C) or above in English and mathematics
- For non-cognate Non-RICS Accredited Degree with honors at lower second standard (2:2) and GCSE grade 4 (or C) or above in English and mathematics
- 96 UCAS tariff points or equivalent & GCSE Grade 4 (or C) or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualification
- An Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or Construction Technical with a minimum DD profile or an equivalent qualification & GCSE Grade 4 (or C) or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualification
As a Management Surveyor you will oversee the day to day running and management of a varied portfolio of commercial property ranging from retail, office and industrial. You’ll be responsible for providing landlords and tenants specialist advice on things such as lease obligations, repairs, and maintenance works, whilst overseeing the management of rental and other income owed by the tenant. You will be working with the client (landlords) to help enhance the value of their portfolios when required. Our clients are principally large institutional firms (pension funds, insurance companies etc.) and property companies.
Other duties will include:- Arranging and undertaking property inspections.
- Preparation and administration of service charge expenditure.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation including Health and Safety and other regulations.
- Dealing with tenant applications for consent to assign, sublet and alter.
- Provide support and assistance to clients in connection with value enhancement opportunities including rent reviews, lettings and lease renewal programs.
- Reporting to and working with clients on tenure and physical improvements to properties.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to both client and tenant requirements.
