The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The L&D Manager is responsible for developing and delivering our learning and development strategy and defining our approach to talent development.

This newly created position within our established HR team will design and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with our organisational goals and empowers our people to build successful careers with us.

The role will develop our leadership development, career pathways, succession planning, competency framework and Learning Management System. The L&D Manager is a strategic role, forming part of the HR leadership team, with strong focus on stakeholder and supplier management.

WHAT MATTERS MOST IN THIS ROLE

Strong understanding and experience of learning and development, specifically designing and implementing L&D initiatives within a professional services environment.

Building strong relationships with the Heads of Departments, Partners, HR department, Finance to understand the learning requirements of the business. Similarly, building strong relationships with suppliers is also an important part of the role.

Experience of creating leadership development programmes, developing competency frameworks, career pathways and learning and development initiatives for everyone. Developing our LMS capability will also level up our ability to deliver online training modules to our people.

We are proud of our highly successful graduate and apprentice training programmes, which the L&D Manager will oversee as part of the learning and development for our early careers offering.

Other duties will include:

  • Responsible for managing the training budget across the Group and developing the budget

  • Direct line management of one Advisory role and working closely with HR Operations to ensure the L&D administration is completed as expected

  • Work closely with the HR department to deliver a best in class HR and L&D service to our people

  • Stay up-to-date on L&D trends, best practice, industry developments, competitor analysis and emerging L&D initiatives, We are an equal opportunities employer, and it is our policy to recruit a diverse workforce and follow the guidelines of the Equality Act 2010.

Proven experience as and L&D Manager or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced professional services organization when you have built a successful L&D function.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly amongst key stakeholders.

Experience of building leadership development programmes, competency frameworks, career pathways and learning opportunities for everyone.

Project management mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage budgets – commercial acumen is key.

A passion for developing people and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Experience of implementing an LMS would be a distinct advantage.

CIPD qualified to level 5 or equivalent experience is preferred.
