To provide design and technical drawing services to our Building Surveying and Property Management departments.
As a CAD Technician you will be part of a professional team, working alongside internal and external clients involved in providing services across:
- Refurbishment & new build projects
- Feasibility studies
- Planning and Building Regulation applications
- Land Registry Plans
- Space Planning
- Fire Insurance Valuations
- Measured surveys
- Building Height surveys
You will be required to prepare a varied range of design and technical drawings to meet clients' expectations and timelines. You should possess a strong understanding of building design principles and be adept at producing accurate technical drawings.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To complete working drawings for a wide range of building projects, in line with regulatory requirements and client/company specification
- A knowledge of current Building Regulations
- To maintain accurate records in line with internal procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience working to tight deadlines within a busy department
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferably obtained via commercial experience. Experience with 2023 version and onwards preferred but not essential
- Interest in 3D modelling, sketch up and rendering software
