The Development Portfolio Management Team at OEGENisresponsible fordelivering our development investments and works hand in hand with developers to deliver on the investment cases in changing commercial and market dynamics.
Your mission will be to make our large development portfolio across Europea huge success.
It spans different maturity stages (from early-stage land to ready to build) and five countries.
We are looking for someone who is very commercially minded, understands renewables development, lovesdataand communicates clearly with the team and senior stakeholders.
The board directors and fund managers will rely on you to support them in decision making and value creation for portfolio companies.
You willbe in charge of value maximisation of projects through their development journey (from early stage to ready to build) and lead on exits.
The ideal candidate will be available to start within 4 weeks.
What you'll do
- You willbea key personresponsible formodelling renewable energy projects, jointventuresand Top Cobusiness plans.
- Maintain and adapt financial models tomonitorvaluation and financial performance of investments, conducting regular assessments of overall portfolio performance againstobjectivesand reporting progress to OEGEN fund managers.
- You will support the commercial management of multiple development pipelines, working with a team of portfolio managers and developers to track performance against investment cases and agreed milestones.
- Support managersand fund managerson value maximisationinitiatives foreach development project, including exittiming, sale preparation, revenue contracting, last mile development and other activities, ensuringoptimalreturns to investors on exit.
You will drive the exit process of projects and platforms at different stage oftheirlife.
- Monitor and interrogate project progress, budgets and KPIs, identifying and escalating risksin a timely manner, and provide briefings and solutions to decision makers (such as board directors and fund managers).
Governance Oversight
- Support in implementing and maintaining governance frameworks across portfolio companies, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with developers on the preparation of board packs, investment committee materials and other operational review documentation to support senior management.
- Track compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements, escalating gaps where identified.
- What you'll need
- Strong financial modelling skills (DCFs, business plans). Proficient in financial modellingprinciples, accounting, project management, dataand reporting.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing investments, assetsand/or development pipelines against investmentobjectives.
Experience inanalysingcomplex data, tracking KPIs, and preparing structured reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Be a pro-active and self-starting senior team member who hasa strong senseof ownership, “can do” attitude, strong teamspiritand ability to grow team members.
- Great communicationand interpersonal skills, adept atbuilding relationships and presenting analysis to adiverserange of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solvingskills.
- Preferably but not mandatory experience inthesale of renewable energy assets (development, in construction or operationalstage).
